The Classical department is dedicated to the national and international promotion of classical music performed by soloists and ensembles in the Netherlands.
A core issue of the Classical department is bringing together supply and demand.

This is realized by:

• a well-designed and informative website with information on musicians, ensembles and venues
• the yearly Chamber Music Day (October 12, 2009), with live showcases, free performances and an information market
• the biannual Dutch Chamber Music Meeting where international contacts meet (October 10-12, 2009)

New promotional activities are in the development process.

The third edition of the Dutch Chamber Music Metting took place from Saturday, October 10 to Monday, October 12. Dutch musicians and ensembles presented the opportunity themselves in short performances to a large number of international promoters, who were invited to the Netherlands specifically for the occasion by the MCN. Read more>>
