Made in Holland: Showcase Programme Early Music
Wednesday 1 September 2010
The Early Music Festival in Utrecht is the world’s largest of its kind. It has a very international programme, but quality does not need to come from far. On the afternoon of Wednesday 1 September Music Centre The Netherlands presents a showcase programme promoting Dutch early music ensembles at the Early Music Festival especially for programme directors, agents and other music professionals.
Five, mostly young, Dutch ensembles will demonstrate how early music is suitable for every type of programme. The performances are preceded by an accessible seminar on making early music programmes, because it is all about presentation.
Music professionals may attend the showcases and seminar for free. They are also invited to the evening concert by the Holland Baroque Society in Vredenburg Leidsche Rijn for free.
If you would like to attend Made in Holland, please reserve via http://www.mcn.nl/showcaseoudemuziek,
