Made in Holland: Showcase Early Music
Wednesday September 1, 2010
The Early Music Festival in Utrecht is the world’s largest of its kind. It has a very international programme, but quality does not need to come from far.
On the afternoon of Wednesday September 1, Music Center The Netherlands presents a showcase programme promoting Dutch early music ensembles at the Early Music Festival. This showcase is intended for programme directors, agents and other music professionals.
Five young Dutch ensembles demonstrate how early music is suitable for every type of programming. The performances are preceded by a seminar - in Dutch - on making early music programmes, because it is all about presentation.
