Release Rental Catalogue

During the MUSIKMESSE in Frankfurt last April the Donemus Rental Catalogue was presented. On the occasion of Donemus’ 60th anniversary a selection was made of compositions which have, in the past proved popular, but also works deserving more interest then they have thus far received. Music Center the Netherlands focuses on the previous and present century, which means that some important titles from Dutch music history have not been included. However, no less than two hundred compositions for orchestra, large ensemble, chamber music and vocal work with accompaniment are cited.  To give a better picture of these compositions, we have added background information: première dates, extracts of notes or a program note written by the composer. The catalogue is accompanied with a historical time beam, placing the works in a context. An appendix with biographies and photographs of the selected composers has also been incorporated.
