The contemporary department stimulates and supports activities and concerts with new music, nationally and internationally. Special attention is paid to creating possibilities for young, talented musicians and composers.
Therefore, Music Center the Netherlands is at the source of new music in the Netherlands and abroad. Although MCN itself does not have its own stage there are numerous activities at all conceivable (contemporary) music venues in and across the borders of the Netherlands.
