Daytime showcases in Felix Meritis
In the daytime, the Shaffyzaal in Felix Meritis will be the stage for extra, smaller showcase concerts. Bassist, pianist and composer Ernst Glerum, singer Ntjam Rosie, Blazin' Quartet and the Joris Posthumus Quartet, will present themselves in short concerts. These artists are part of a young generation of jazz- and world musicians according to the juries of the World Up! Award 2009, Young VIP Tournee 2009 (Blazin' Quartet) en Young VIP Tournee 2010 (Joris Posthumus Quartet).
Trade dinners
The exhibitors can register for special dinners in the American Hotel, where new contacts can be made, and old ones renewed.
Late Night Sessions
DJWM ends both showcase evenings with Late Night Sessions at the café of the Eden Amsterdam American Hotel. Saxophone player Susanne Alt (2 Dec) and drummer Lucas van Merwijk (3 Dec) will invite musicians that played earlier that evening at the Melkweg or the Sugar Factory.
From 23.30 to 1.30 h, only for DJWM badge-holders.
