About the Music Information Center
Music Information Center (MIC) is a large documentation center where you can find everything about music.
Collection
The MIC is home to the collections of Donemus, Gaudeamus, National Rock Institution and the Dutch Jazz Archives. The collection consists of:
- scores
- arrangements
- books on music
- reference works
- volumes of numerous national and international music magazines
- audio and video recordings
- photographs
- newspaper clippings
Additionally the MIC is responsible for the Dutch magazines FRET Magazine en Jazz Bulletin and the online (digital) Encyclopedia of Dutch Rock Music.

We are open to the general public: from students and musicologists to music lovers and professional musicians.
