Music thesis prize
Winning Music Thesis will receive € 500 award
In March 2009, Music Center the Netherlands awarded the first Music Thesis Prize, an annual prize bestowed on the writer of the best graduating-student final thesis on music and musical culture in the broadest sense. In so doing, MCN carried on the tradition of the National Pop Institute.
The winner receives the sum of € 500.
All topics related to music and musical culture are eligible - from classical to pop, contemporary classical to jazz. Both HBO and university (master's) theses may compete for the prize.
